Edit an import?

  I am new to 2020 Design and I am wondering if anyone has found a way to edit an imported design. I have exported a design from one computer and need to edit it on another since it’s got a larger screen and because I won’t have access to the other computer at all times. I’ve been unsuccessful with tech or customer support as of late. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  You don’t need to export the file. You can just save it to a thumbdrive as a .kit file and bring it back and forth between the 2 machines. Or just email the design .kit file between the 2 machines.

  Are you using 2020 Design on both machines or are you working with different software? If the latter then I’m afraid you won’t have much luck as most K&B design files are not interchangeable.
  
  If you are using 2020 Design on both machines, the only thing Neil didn’t mention was that whatever catalogs have been used when creating the design need to be present on both machines. 2020 Design will tell you what catalogs are missing when you open the design on the second machine and you can then ‘ship’ catalogs to USB Stick from the first machine using Catalog Manager and install them on the second machine.
