1. I don’t find this a massive problem but I agree that it would be nice if Notes could be part of the display schema settings in the same way as other items – it’s listed there but each tab seems to have it’s own ‘notes’ layer. I can understand that this is an advantage if you want different notes on the countertop tab compare to all but maybe have Notes (All), Notes (No Dims) etc so you can choose what shows and where.
2. Never had a problem with builders – they get plans and elevations and hidden line renders. I do agree however, that the render engine could be speeded up – there is little render speed difference between a PC with a basic graphics card and a PC of the same spec but with high end graphics card.
3. This would be nice but would be very memory intensive. Perhaps when the 64 bit version comes along, this can be considered.
4. Favourites everywhere would be nice but you can already have standard notes etc stored and selectable quickly. Worst case, keep an open word/wordpad document elsewhere with all the notes you want readily available for copy/paste. See picture.
5. 100%!!! If they updated the shapes in the COMMON catalogue, this would be a very worthwhile change that could apply to everyone easily! Also whereas the cloud is good, it’s too slow for many users who design lots of kitchens and have limited time to spend on each design.
6. Yes, very true. Perhaps a new Lighting Wizard would help as well as render engine ‘tweaking’
7. Never had a problem with this so not sure what the issue is. The only thing I would like is to be able to select the floorplan section BEFORE the elevations. Currently we have to print the floorplan section on its own to PDF, then we print the elevations and have to add it to the back of the PDF and then we can print all of these together (in actual fact, we usually just send the PDF to the trades etc).
