The new features in FX4 look good but after upgrading I was very disappointed to find out that the catalog I use is not supported. After two nights spent with support I am back to a stage of using FX3 so I can access my designs with all of the units included. I am told that South Africa will not have FX4 till the end of the year and assume that after they do there will be a resolution period until I can use Maxima’s catalog (which I have been using for about 10 years). I am particularly interested in the dimentioning & annotation upgrades as the current system sucks & always has (there are some slight improvements from v14-18 to FX3)
That said & considering you mention request based video I am interested in better examples of sloped ceilings and also mixed level flat ceilings. Say I had a room with 2400mm walls but a section that was raised to 2700mm the program will draw all ceilings at 2700mm. Currently I am drawing a *box to compensate for the 2400mm area’s & linking the colour palete to ceiling. Is there a better way to work?
