The only way I’ve found is to ensure the construction line for the peninsula doesn’t *quite* touch the wall – only like 1/8″ off. That way the wall’s placement zone doesn’t “mitre” with the placement zone of the construction line.
You might have to hold down the SHIFT key while you’re doing it so they don’t snap together.
