I am a former kitchen designer and I currently teach a Business Technology / Computer Science class in North Philadelphia. I would love the opportunity to put 6.4 or 6.1 on all of the computers in my room to introduce interior design as a project. It is a great way to get students interested in design and help a few turn to that field for a career. If there is a way to not have to load the demo every year, that would be great. Is there a MAC version?

      Thanks,

      Hi Harvey,

Unfortunately without a 2020 Design license (‘dongle’) the Demo will keep expiring.
As per running the program in MAC you have to use Bootcamp

      thanks

There is no ‘free’ version of 2020 Design for obvious reasons and V6 is over a decade old. I know 2020 have educational options but they do come with a charge.

I’d suggest having a look at Sketchup as there is a native Mac version so you won’t have to run Bootcamp (or Parallels/Fusion). Also, you can get it free and they even have options for Schools enrolled with Google: https://www.sketchup.com/education/sketchup-for-schools
