As a Microsoft Gold Partner, 2020 Technologies maintains an operating system support policy with the goal of reflecting Microsoft’s own lifecycle policies, wherever possible.

Consequently, from time to time, this will result in 2020 withdrawing support for operating systems that may still be in use by customers of its software.

      End of Windows 7 Support

Effective January 14, 2020 Microsoft will cease their support of the Windows 7 operating system. Notice here.

In line with this position, 2020 will also cease its own support of this platform as of this date. Meaning there will be no further development or QA testing will be undertaken for any of its products using this OS.

At the time of writing, Microsoft’s guidance is that the upgrade path for a user of the Windows 7 OS will be to move to Windows 10 so that they will continue to benefit from the latest software and security updates.

Does this mean version 12 will only be available to install on Windows 10?  Are you going to prevent the Windows 7 install like you did when XP was retired?

We will still continue to support all stated operating systems ie. Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 2019 etc.

There is no intention at this time to purposefully prevent 2020 Insight v12 from being installed on Windows 7. However, it will not be officially supported so I can make no guarantees as noted in the original notification.

If during the development of v12 we discover any issues that would prevent 2020 Insight working properly with Windows 7 we will make an official announcement.

I would like to join because I faced a similar problem when I was starting a new business. By the way, not so long ago I decided to start understanding the internal structure of this industry and I decided to find cheap windows servers, which helped me create a better website with all the working tools, functions and design as well. This advice proved very meaningful to me because development is what we all need.
