We have received feedback from some customers reporting strange behavior after they loaded the latest v12 on top of an existing v12.
The teams are currently investigating and we should have some update on this topic soon.
In the meantime, if you have performed that type of update as described above, we recommend that you perform a clean install of the 12.0.8.3 version.
Please note that you will also need to install your manufacturer catalogs.
