Render Performance/Smooth Lines

Can anyone tell my why my renders look like this? (See attached)

I am relatively new with Version 12, but the older version I was using had a “Smooth Lines” option.  I use Hidden Lines most, but find that lines will disappear or look jagged at certain angles.

      Thanks!

      Hi Jeremy,

When creating your renderings, be sure to use “High Quality Render”. This feature will straighten all of your lines in the drawing. See attached image.

I am trying to do a quality rendering of a hidden line perspective and the high-quality rendering is coming out looking like a wireframe.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
See attached. “test1” is the high-quality rendering.
      Thanks

      Hi Jeremy,

I’m not able to see that there was an attached file but it is odd that your High Quality render is being produced in Wireframe.

I would suspect this to either be an issue with the graphics card (perhaps it needs to be updated) or I would assume this to be an issue in the program registries. What you can try is to run basic maintenance on the program to see if this will sort out your issues. Running maintenance will remove any preferences you’ve set in program and revert them to the default settings. HERE is an article to help run Maintenance.

Of course if you do not want to do this alone, you can contact us for any assistance! You can reach us by calling 1.866.697.2020.

      Regards,
