Embawood Implements 2020 Insight to Streamline Manufacturing Across Furniture Plants
Laval, QC, July 29, 2015 – 2020, the world’s leading provider of applications and enterprise solutions dedicated to interior design, space planning and furniture manufacturing, today announced a strategic partnership with Azerbaijanian furniture manufacturer Embawood dedicated to a long-term cooperation. With seven production plants, 250 retailer and more than 3,500 employees, Embawood is the largest furniture manufacturer in Azerbaijan.
Embawood selected 2020 Insight as their manufacturing operations management (MOM) solution together with 2020 Design as their graphical planning software at one of their sites in 2013. Within a short period of time all retail shops in Azerbaijan and Georgia were provided with 2020 Design to provide employees with planning support for kitchen and furniture. At the same time, 2020 Insight was implemented at the Baku site and went live in 2015.

Due to their successful collaboration, Embawood decided to embark on a long-term partnership with the software company. In addition to an increase of 2020 Design licenses for up to 300 users, they also agreed to implement 2020 Insight furniture manufacturing software in all 7 production plants. All sites will be linked to monitor capacity utilization and manage logistics through 2020 Insight’s multi-site functionality.
