2020 Privacy Policy

  1. Introduction
    20-20 Technologies Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “2020”) is committed to demonstrating the highest level of integrity in dealing with its customers. By using our website, services, purchasing or requesting information on our products and services or by providing us personal information, you agree to the policies, practices, and terms herein contained. We routinely update our policy and therefore invite you to consult it again from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes. When we make major changes, you will be informed by email (if you provided us with an email address). For minor changes, the latest changes will be highlighted in yellow.
    Please read this policy carefully and make sure you understand it. This policy describes how we treat certain information about you, your computer or mobile device (“Device”). When you are using 2020’s internet services and electronic media directly, we may collect, process and/or use data that identify you or make you identifiable (personally identifiable information – “PII“). Some examples of PII are your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information. We only process PII which is required to provide our services to you, e.g. to pursue our contractual obligations.
    2020 understands your desire to protect personal information and intends to inform you on how your personal information will be gathered, tracked, processed or used, for which purposes and on which legal basis, as well as the alternatives which are offered to you in this respect. We further inform you about your rights to protect your PII. Note that should alternatives not be offered to you on web pages where your personal information is requested and obtained, you may provide us your communication preferences through one of the communication channels detailed at the bottom of this statement.
  1. What information we gather and track
    2020 collects personal information which it deems to be reasonably necessary to provide our services to you, e.g. to pursue our contractual obligations and serve a legitimate business purpose. We request personal information when you place an order, create an Account, register a product, request a service, answer a survey, enter a contest, do a training, correspond with us or engage in certain other activities on our website. If you request technical support online, you will be asked to provide the information necessary to complete the transaction. At any time, you will have the option to decide not to proceed with the transaction requiring your personal information.

Account creation and contact information (for example an email address). In order to activate and/or use some of our products or services, you will need to create a 2020 cloud account (“Account”). During the process of setting up your Account, we will ask you for certain PII such as your email address. We need this information to allow you to activate, manage or use your 2020 products and services. We may associate your email address and other PII (such as name, telephone number, and address) with your Account. You might also provide us with your contact information through other interactions with us, whether through use of our services, a form on our website, an interaction with our sales or customer support team, or a response to one of our surveys (operated by SurveyMonkey).

Usage information. We collect usage information about you whenever you interact with our websites, services, and products either directly or through third-party service providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Pardot, and Matomo). This includes which web pages you visit, features you use in our products, what you click on, when you perform those actions, what language preference you have, and so on. We also use third party tracking services that employ cookies and page tags (also known as web beacons) to collect data about visitors to our websites. This data includes usage and user statistics. Emails sent by 2020 include features that allow the sender to collect information about who opened those emails and clicked on links in them. We provide more information on cookies below.

Device and browser data. We collect information from the device and application you use to access our services. Device data mainly means your IP address, operating system version, device type, system and performance information, and browser type.

Log Data. Like most websites today, our web servers and service provider (WP Engine) keep log files that record data each time a device accesses those servers. The log files contain data about the nature of each access, including originating IP addresses, internet service providers, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system versions, device type, and timestamps.

Information from third parties and integration partners. We collect your personal information or data from third parties if you give permission to those third parties to share your information with us or where you have made that information publicly available online.

  1. How we use the information we gather and track
    We use personally identifiable information in the following cases:

To enable you to create an Account;
To enable you to access 2020 forums;
To fulfill your request or transaction;
To allow you to purchase and download products, obtain access to services or otherwise engage in activities you select;
To provide you with information about new products or services, product upgrades, newsletters, informative emails and research on future product ideas or improvements;
To provide you with special offers or training options that may be of interest or relevant to you;
To help you to quickly find software, services or product information important to you;
To assist us in creating content, information or training that is relevant to you and your use of our products and services; and
To assist us in creating better products and services to meet your needs.

  1. With whom we may share your information
    2020 does not sell PII to third parties. If we work with advertising and publishing partners, we will only share non-PII and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
    However, we may engage other companies or consultants to provide certain services to 2020. For example, we work with Cleverbridge AG (Brabanter Str. 2-4, 50674 Cologne, Germany) to provide you with a convenient way to order, pay for and receive our products online. Internally, we also use certain cloud-based service providers like Salesforce or Netsuite (Oracle) to manage some of your PII. In such situations, either 2020 will share the necessary PII if we have an appropriate agreement in place with such partner or, in certain occasions, the partner will interact directly with you (like Cleverbridge AG, through their own web terms and conditions and privacy policy) to collect the necessary PII to complete their services on our behalf and according to our instructions. If need be, 2020 will only transfer the minimum amount of PII needed in order to perform the required services. Such companies must adhere strictly to data protection legislation. They must also treat your PII confidentially and use it only for providing us the services. We make sure that our service providers have appropriate technical and organizational measures in place to protect your PII. Regarding PII being subject to the European General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), we have entered with our service providers into data processing agreements or addendums according to Art. 28 of the GDPR.

    As we are a global corporation, we may store and process your personal information on a server outside the country where you live. Also, the personal information that you have provided us may be transferred to other 2020 offices around the world also outside your jurisdiction into countries which may not provide for a level of data protection adequate to your jurisdiction (e.g. the U.S., China or India) since we have different business units working from different 2020 offices. For example, when European customers register their 2020 products, their personal information may be transferred to servers in Canada then transferred back to servers in one or more of 2020's offices around the globe. Also, in certain countries our Independent Industry Consultants or third party contractors might undertake the collection, transferring, storage and processing of your information in which case such contractors and consultants will be bound by contractual provisions to protect PII, as applicable. We transfer your PII only to other offices or entities of 2020 and our service providers as far as required to perform our services and permitted by law or by consent you have given to us. Regarding PII being subject to the GDPR, we have introduced appropriate safeguards according to Art. 46 – 49 GDPR.

    The list of service providers to which we disclose your PII and our safeguards to secure an EU level of data protection can be requested by e-mail to privacy@2020spaces.com.
    Finally, 2020 may disclose your PII if we are required by law to provide it to governmental agencies, courts or other authorities.

  1. Consequences if we may not collect your PII
    We need your PII to provide our services to you. Without providing such PII we may not be able to provide you the services you are intending to receive.
  1. The legal basis of collecting, processing and using your PII
    Our services are subject to the laws applicable in the countries where we provide our services. We collect, process and use your PII in accordance with the applicable laws of all relevant countries. Our services in the EU are subject to the GDPR and under the GDPR we collect, process and use your PII for the purposes listed above according to Art. 6 para. 1a, 1b, and 1f GDPR.
  1. Choice/double-opt-in/opt-out
    When you create an Account, you will be invited to confirm your email address and intention to receive our e-mails, newsletter, and bulletins. If, after opting-in, you do not wish to continue receiving our e-mail newsletters or bulletins, you can opt-out of receiving these communications by replying “unsubscribe” in the subject line in the email or by changing your preferences within your Account. If you are an active customer using one of our products or services, note that we may still communicate with you regarding such products and services.
  1. Security Measures and Protection of PII
    We have put in place lawful and industry-standard safeguards to protect your PII. For example, some information transmitted to 2020 will be in encrypted form using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. We do this to make sure that your PII is not lost, harmed, lost or deleted.
    Anyone at 2020 who has access to PII has been informed about the proper and lawful way such data should be handled.
  1. Web Site & Cookies
    You can visit most areas of 2020’s web site without disclosing any personal information. 2020 only logs the domain name, IP address and browser type of our website visitors via our web server log files and analytics tools at irregular intervals. We use this information to log global access traffic to our website. Such information is not correlated with any personal information and does not identify you.
    2020 may use cookies from time to time. A Cookie is a unique text file that a Web site can send to your browser software. We may use Cookies to identify the browser you are using so that our website displays properly. We also use cookies in various places on our website in order to document your visit to the 2020 website and allow for a more efficient website design. For example, to optimize the shopping cart feature used for ordering in the 2020 online store. If you do not want to allow 2020 or someone else to use Cookies, you can disable cookie installation via your browser setting or refuse the installation of cookies when prompted to this effect. While you also have the option of deleting Cookies from your computer's hard disk at any time, if you choose to do so, you may be unable to use some of the features of our website, products, and services.

    For certain features, we will ask that you provide 2020 certain information so that it works properly. You can decide at any time whether you would like to continue with an instruction prompting you to provide PII. In some cases, you will be unable to complete a particular step in the process if you do not want to provide the information requested.

  1. Links to Business Partner and Co-Branded Sites
    Certain links contained on 2020 websites may direct you to co-branded websites maintained by 2020 or to companies which 2020 has established business relationships. When you submit information to one of these co-branded sites or partner companies, you may be submitting it to both 2020 and these business partners. Under no circumstances may 2020 be held responsible for the privacy practices of these business partners and we therefore strongly encourage you to read their respective privacy policies as they may differ from ours.
  1. Consent and withdrawal
    When you use our website, from time to time, we may ask you to consent to the collection, processing, and use of your PII for the purposes described above. Any consent is provided freely. If you give your consent you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. After your withdrawal, we may collect, process and use your PII on another legal basis as far as permitted by the applicable laws. To withdraw your consent, please send us an e-mail or a letter to our contact information provided below.
  1. When we erase your PII
    We erase your PII automatically when they are no longer required for the purposes listed above. We further erase your PII according to your request and if further storage is neither required nor permitted by applicable laws.

  2. Your rights related to data privacy
    You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of your PII, or restriction of their processing. Furthermore, you have the right to object processing as well as to request data portability. If you are in the EU you have the right to file a complaint with the responsible European data privacy authority.
