Adding Door Styles to Elevations and Overhead Views like

  Question, how do you add door styles to elevations and overheads like All and All(no dims)? Right now on the elevation and overheads the cabinets appear as just squares with no features except when I do a rendering. Maybe this has to do with the cabinet catalog and is beyond my ability to change?
  
  I previously came from a big box retailer using version 9 with many features already locked in and now I’m with a new employer who uses version 11. A version I have no experience with. If there is anything else I’m missing from version 9 to 11 that you think helpful, or even if you can direct me to a good FAQ, I’d greatly appreciate it.

  File – Preferences – Work Area – check “Display 3D shapes in elevation”
  
  I suggest leaving the floor plan without 3D as it simplifies designing and makes the program run a little smoother, but that’s up to your own personal tastes.
