GE 100 – Using Insight Basics

2 days

This intro class provides an overview on how to best navigate 2020 Insight.

Who Should Attend:
All 2020 Insight users

SYS 100—2020 Insight Systems Administration

2 days

This class provides an understanding of overall functionality, system setup and control, and data testing methods.

Who Should Attend:
Project managers, network/systems administrators, IT specialists, SIT members

CFG 100—Introduction to Product Configuration

1.5 days

This accelerated class provides an overview of order management, order entry, product configuration, engineering integration, and basic pricing. This course can be combined with ENG 100 – Intro to Engineering Configurator, allowing you to save travel time and cost and to speed up your software implementation.

Who Should Attend:
Project managers, sales managers, customer service managers, software implementation team (SIT) members

CFG 200—Pricing, Discounts and Taxes*

2 days

This class uses industry-specific examples to illustrate the setup of rules and calculations used in determining pricing, discounts, and taxes.
*Prerequisite: CFG 100

Project managers, sales managers, customer service managers, SIT members

CFG 300—Bill of Materials: Configuration and Maintenance

2 days

This class illustrates bill of materials (BOM) creation and maintenance for different types of 2020 Insight items. BOM examples include purchase-toorder, purchase-to-stock, manufacture-to-order, manufacture-to-stock, sub assemble-to-order and sub assemble-to-stock items. You will also review ways to enhance BOMs that originate from an engineering configurator.

Project managers, engineering managers, SIT members

ENG 100—Introduction to Engineering Configuration

3.5 days

This accelerated class focuses on setup of flexible 2020 Construct engineering models used to generate dynamic BOMs on the fly. This course can be combined with CFG 100—Introduction to Product Configuration, allowing you to save travel time and cost and to speed up your software implementation.

Project managers, engineering managers, SIT members

ENG 200—Advanced Engineering Configuration*

3 days

This class provides in-depth instruction on complex, yet flexible 2020 Construct engineering models, hardware connections, and engineering for “specials.”
*Prerequisites: CFG 100 and ENG 100

PRO 100—Introduction to Production Scheduling and Execution

2 days

This class focuses on production planning and scheduling tools, and setup, maintenance, and configuration of Shop Floor Assistant.

Who Should Attend:
Purchasing agents, inventory and materials managers, SIT members

PUR 100—Introduction to Purchasing and Inventory

2 days

This class provides an understanding of overall functionality and data setup requirements for the Purchasing and Inventory modules.

REP 100—Introduction to Reporting and Charting
2 days
This class provides an overview of the Insight database and shows users how to develop reports and charts using industry-specific examples. For SQL/Crystal Reports savvy programmers.
