I have emailed 2020 3 times with no reply, what email should I be using for support? I am using 11.5.2.11 & I have had continued trouble with my renderings, it crashes almost every time I go to print after previewing. It also crashes at other random times that make no sense. I have made several calls to support, they have updated drivers, checked printer issues etc..I was told that I may need to uninstall / re-install 2020. What is the best way to uninstall the program? I thought I remembered there being an “uninstaller” to download. Thank you, Amy</span></p>

V10 onwards follows accepted Microsoft methods for uninstalling. Just go to Control Panel, Priograms and Features, click on Design and click the Change button.

You will be prompted for a Basic Uninstall or a Complete Uninstall. A Basic Uninstall leaves your settings (including registry) and installed catalogues in place and a Complete Uninstall removes everything. Neither options remove drawings so they will be perfectly safe.

Given the amount of hassle you seem to be having, I would do a Complete Uninstall and accept the hassle of having to reload catalogues and re-enter your preferred settings.

Which OS are you on (win 10, 8.1, 7) and what graphics card do you have? Also what main processor – Intel or AMD?

Odd. That is a perfectly acceptable configuration. I would say that there is no alternative but to Complete Uninstall and re-install.

Before you try that however, try closing down all other software including any anti-virus, any other resident programs such as Dropbox, Google Drive and so on and see if that reduces the crashing.

I have a habit of printing to PDF and then printing the PDF on the printer. So it may be worth trying that combo as well. I use PrimoPDF to create the PDFs then if needed I enhance them in another package. I have yet to get a crash like the print/preview one you describe. This 2 stage thing only adds a few seconds to the whole process and means I have a PDF ready to email.
