How do I create partial cathedral ceilings

  Can anyone help on creating partial cathedral ceilings?
  
  This should be easy because I actually have two rooms. One room will be cathedral and the other will have a flat ceiling but they share a common wall. I tried a few things but I can’t get the flat ceiling to stay flat, it conforms to the cathedral and is odd-shaped.
  
  I thought I can create four additional walls with the properties adjusted for my cathedral ceiling and set it on top of my existing walls to create the cathedral but I can’t seem to find an “up/down” setting for the walls. I would need to raise these secondary or upper walls to 96″ to set on top of the other walls.
  
  Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

  Hi Ron,
  
  Within our program, the walls have a default value set at 0″. This value cannot be changed as the walls need to be planted on the floor. Instead of trying to raise another wall, perhaps you can try using a surface or a 3D shape in its place.

    Kris, thanks for your help!
    I tried to do what you suggested but I just don’t know how to use a surface as a ceiling or manipulate a 3D shape and orient the shape on the correct plane to replicate my cathedral ceiling. Thankfully I was able to find some pictures on the internet that closely resembled my design and I was able to sell the job without the proper renderings.

  Hi Ron,
  
  In 2020 Design, you cannot change the height of any of your walls. By default our walls will always sit on the ground and that cannot be changed.
