In 2017, 2020 and Eurosoft entered into an OEM agreement under which 2020 will offer Eurosoft’s BlueCell “Optimization and Nesting Solution” software worldwide as an option embedded with 2020 Insight BlueCell is a 21st century optimization, nesting and automation software that is the product of a collaboration of industry veterans, university researchers and professional software developers. It uses mathematical algorithms to explore hundreds of thousands of solutions in a matter of seconds to determine the best position and orientation of parts on raw material(s) to create high yield, low waste patterns for cutting or routing. Data from 2020’s Insight can be directly imported into BlueCell to automate the front-end to manufacturing process, resulting in numerous integration projects and happy customers.
