12" x 24" Tile Flooring Patterns

Any suggestions on the best way to make a realistic 12″ x 24″ brick layed tile floor that looks realistic and to scale?  I have tried laying each “tile” individually and it is so time consuming and the tile still doesn’t look to scale with what the original image is.  I found that almost every design has some element of a brick pattern and everything in 2020 is a straight pattern.  I would love to hear what everyone else uses out there!
