Hi,

Has anyone got any ideas how to do this, its a standard ceiling (not sloped) with 4 velux windows in it. When I add a velux it comes in above the roof at a vertical angle. I need to rotate this so that it sits on the ceiling itself.

Hi Rob,

You will only be able to adjust windows within elevation view with selected adjacent wall. Please refer to this guide.

Also please note that velux windows will not attach properly to standard ceilings, you will not be able to see trough them. Only sloped ceilings will work properly with velux windows.

A way around this is to create the ceiling using BOXCEILING item in ADV graphics.

Don’t use ADD CEILING under the insert TAB

Just work out what size windows you want in the ceiling and then make the ceiling around these with BOXCEILING , you can get the effect you require i think. I would show you a screen snip but this forum will not allow me to paste it in !
