What Does Real Rehabilitation Look Like?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about rehabilitation recently and how it’s portrayed in the media versus real life. It’s clear that it’s not just about “detoxing” or a quick fix—rehabilitation seems to be a long and often difficult journey.
What I’m wondering is, how does the process actually unfold day-to-day in a rehab setting? Is it a mix of therapy, self-reflection, and community support, or is there more to it? How long does it typically take before someone starts feeling like they’re making real progress?

I’d love to hear your experiences or any thoughts on what rehabilitation truly involves.
