Window Frame Color

  When I attempt to change a window frame color to a dark brown walnut color, it only changes the inner part of the window trim (not the bulkier frame). Is there a way to change all of the trim to a color of our choice? I am using the hung window with the fixed frame which has rosettes in the corners.
