It’s because of the shape of the kicker. 2020 Design is not a full CAD program so shapes tend to be locked down. <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>The kicker shape is adjustable in height only across it’s full length.</span>
I recently had a tapezoid shape added as a panel but you can’t add points to it. I’ve been asking for ages for the ability to design a vertical surface in the same way as a benchtop.
I know of no way in 2020 design to accomplish what you want. I’ve used the Surface tool to design some really odd shaped splashbacks but afaik you can’t make these into a kicker.
The ONLY option I can suggest is to design the shape you want in Sketchup and then import it into your design.
