Have the same exact problem. I’ve noticed if I zoom out enough and bring the starting point into the proper quadrant on the screen I have a better probably for making the “added” point go in the proper direction. I think often when the point is to the far left and in the middle of the screen, after you select add, the system instantly thinks you’re adding a point in a horizontal fashion. But I completely agree. Adding points should take 1 or 2 minutes at max. I’m spending 10 -15 minutes on some of the more complicated designs I’ve worked on this week. It has me at the point of walking away from this program. Seems every release is one step forward and five backward.
