It appears you are using a very high resolution for your display with high display scaling. Please refer to this knowledge center article for solution.
The other message I suspect you have not set a proper location for your local projects.
Go to the Tools menu, and choose preferences. Then click Folders+Files. Set your local projects path to a valid location.
