It used to be so much better when you buy the software once and if you wanted to keep up support, pay an additional I think $800/year. What they’re requesting now is ridiculous.
Unfortunately I need to renew my license but it’s tough considering how NJ is screwing people over with also insane property tax increases- Mine went up an additional 2,500 this past year to now being $16k; I was at $10k about 5 years ago. It’s pure insanity with how much Cyncly has increased pricing and with that, they won’t do monthly financing (I don’t have a CC and never would get one again).
For now, it seems the best thing to do is learn and use a program that’s cheaper. May not do as much -especially in regards to pricing and such- but would be better financially in the long run i think. It’s why I’m learning Sketchup. Not ideal but by next year when it’s renewal time, I shouldn’t need 2020Design.
