We currently have 5 USB keys for the 2020 Design Complete Maintenance & Support plan. I took a look at the FAQ, but I still have a few questions about migrating to 2020 Design Live.
- If a cloud catalog is available for one of our cabinet manufacturers, can we still use the .zip file version of the catalog instead?
- If one of our designers chooses to use a cloud catalog, will the items in that design be updated automatically every time the manufacturer releases a new catalog?
- If we lose our internet connection at the office and someone has already begun a design using a cloud catalog, can they use the .zip file version of the same catalog to continue working offline?

To answer your questions,
1. Cloud content & file based catalogs are not based on identical content & formatting, however you can use either to populate your design layout.
2. One of the major perks of cloud content, you no longer need to use the switch items function as you did in the past when you installed an updated file based catalog. Cloud content is always up to date & ready to use.
3. Similar to number one, you can use either, however cloud content always requires an internet connection. If & when you lose internet connection at home or in the office, we encourage customers to use their mobile phone to tether with for internet access.I hope I answered your questions, please feel free to reach our to our Design Live migration team for further detail on any other questions you may have: dlmigrations@2020spaces.com
