I remember reading somewhere on these forums that 2020 Design version 12 was going to be released sometime this year. Is this true? As much as I hate to admit it, we’re still primarily using 2020 V9.1. I don’t really see the utility in installing and familiarizing myself with V11.12 if I could just skip all the way to V12 later this year.

Hello Tom,
We are planing to release V12.0 later this year. V12.0 will have all the functionalities of V11.12 and it will be 64 bit compliant.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Santiago

Tom,
V11.8 & V11.11 are a good upgrades to what you have.
We have not upgraded to v11.12 so bugs can be fixed. Also, there are more system requirements for the v11.12 than we are using on the V11.8 even with our 64bit machines.
Enjoying V11.8 so far….

Hi Lynne, I appreciate the hardware concern information. It won’t be a problem for me though. My design PC has an overclocked Core i7-8700K and a GTX 1080 Ti. We’ve had other design-related issues in the past not necessarily related to 2020, and we’ve found that brute forcing our way through things with slightly overkill hardware has been a good solution.
