2020 floor area calculation

  Hello!
  
  Could you please tell me if there is a way to calculate the modelled room area in Design 2020? (based on the outer contour of the walls).
  We are currently uploading a file to Sketchup and viewing the room area in that program, I would like to be able to do this in 2020.

  Unfortunately there is no way to automatically calculate the area of a design. This is something that would need to be done manually.

    I use the surface tool in the floorplan view and outline the area i want to calculate and in the Surface attributes window under the variables tab the Area in square feet is shown to the hundreths of a square foot.
