If you are using the default benchtop line colour of red, this often prints very badly on laser printers and even fails to scan properly on some faxes.
I suggest that you right click on the benchtop, choose display options, change the Outline Colour to black and if this isn’t enough, change the fill to grey (although this means all dimensions and annotations have to be outside of the benchtop).
Some printers also have an option to thicken fine lines in the printer properties. You can also often play with the boldness and contrast settings of a lot of printers.
