Hi. I am working on a very old zig zaggy New England home with a set of twisting back servant stairs. Client would like to recess drawers in the space under the stairs. I would like to draw the exact walls to add notes and questions for how the contractor is going to trim everything out. The first picture is the actual space, but it’s hard to see what I mean by the stairs. The second picture is a similar situation with angled stair ceiling in another part of the house.
Anyone got a trick for getting that angle on the ceiling? Do I need to add a construction line at the center and play with wall heights or something?

Hi Christine,
You can create this type of angle using the custom shapes from the ROOM catalog. In the Local Browser, select ROOM > Architectural Elements > Custom Shapes > Wall Custom Shapes … then you can use the TRIANGLE-R.H or TRIANGLE-L.H. You can modify the triangle to be the size you need from within Attributes.
Regards,
Kris

Hello! I really like this article because I am a person who likes to take care of my house. So Using the space under the stairs with a slanted ceiling is both convenient and stylish. I have designed with a very suitable and unique aesthetic and I often look at the samples at tiny fishing because it is really beautiful with a very beautiful decoration. You should refer to have a practical and attractive space in your house.
