Changing Color of Soffits V12

  I just realized that on version 12, you can’t change the color of soffits anymore. Unless you still can, and I’m just missing it. Has anyone else figured out a way to do this yet?

  You can still change the color of soffits. My guess is that you used countertops and trims to place the soffit and it placed soffits from the FO_SE catalog. These catalogs work differently than the other ones in that you need to go into options to make changes to anything out of those catalogs. I think if you remove the existing soffits and replace them with ones from Sample E you will be fine.

    I use “Room Layout” -> “Openings and Obstacles” -> “Obstacles” -> “Wall Upper Obstacle”, and then change the attributes for size and color. Is there any advantage to using another method?
