Hi there!

Quick question, because I can’t find any info, and someone is almost forcing into i7, instead of i5. My background is 3ds, where yes, there is multithread support (logic cores), but, system requeriments for fusion state i5, and no info is found about multithread support.

Is there any improvement for, real example:

i5 3.7 ghz 6 core – 6 thread

i7 3.7 ghz 6 core – 12 thread

(or even for a i7 4 ghz 4 core – 8 thread).

I want facts so I can know what I’m working with!

Hi Rui,

I can confirm that Fusion does makes use of CPUs with multithread cores.

However, the only time this is used within the software is when rendering in the Presentation and Presentation Plus modes.

So, the higher the number of threads the quicker these views will render.
