Turning to the community as support has utterly failed me for the millionth time.
Long story short, my issue has been going on for over a year and I’m about to lose it. Support has submitted my issue as a bug, it has been escalated, personally I have spent 50+ hours trying trying to find a fix, replaced my computer three times (with brand new machines I might add) and the issue still persists.
EVERY TIME I go into the feature sand options to set the options on ANY closet I design the program crashes. It’s mind boggling.
Does this happen to anyone else? Is it the catalog that I’m using? am I doing something wrong? At this point all options are on the table.
I attached a screenshot so you can see catalog and various options I selected on one of the recent closets.
Can anybody please please help?
Thank you,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
The design has stopped working error is as generic as it gets. If you go into the control panel on your computer and open event viewer you will be able to find the error. Find the faulting module. That should point us in the right direction as to why it’s crashing. Also which version of 2020 are you running and which catalog are you using to create the closet?
Thanks

The catalog is:
Wellborn Closets WBCLST15 Released July 17, 2015
I contacted their CAD support as well, no response as of yet.Let me pull the event and will post it here as well.
Thanks

Here is the event log. It is incredibly vague. The only thing I have not eliminated as the problem is the catalog.

Edith,
I’m confused. Even when we download the 10.6 version and tried it this STILL happens. It’s not just an inconvenience, it renders me completely unable to do my job.
There has to be some way that I can build closets using the Wellborn catalog and the 2020 software. Do we need to downgrade? What can we try to get this working?

Thank you Edith,
When I was in training I was using 11.5 and version 15 of the catalog, on near the same platform and didn’t have these problems. Any insight into how this would happen?
Any ideas?

I’m looking at buying another new computer. This is similar to the one I used in training to see if it does the trick. Here is the build I’m looking at:
Lenovo
think station P710
Xeon e5 -2623 v4 2.6 ghz
windows 7
16gb memory
Quadro M2000 4g1 TB SSD
My only concern is the Quadro M2000 4G is not listed on the Redway3D supported GPU list. Is there a video card that anybody can recommend? or will this work?Thank you,

That is a hell of a spec! Can’t see why the Quadro wouldn’t work but even the latest Redway ‘approved’ cards are way behind what is available and the 2020 version is probably further behind.
I’d give it a go as the alternative is to try and find one of the older cards and you can do this after you get the machine set up anyway.
I’d be interested in how fast you find the config especially for Panoramic 360s
