Custom textures

Can someone tell me what limitations there are for custom textures (filesize, resolution, filename, etc).

I have three digital photos I’m trying to import as textures in the kitchen I’m working on.

I opened the first one in Gimp, cropped it, and saved it as a .jpg in the folder where I keep other custom textures.  I found it, used it, all’s well.

I tried to do the same with images 2&3, but the new texture picker could not see the files in the folder.  I double checked the location, still didn’t work.  I then tried reducing image size, resolution, shortening file name, moving location, restarting 2020, rebooting my computer.  The texture import tool just will not see these files in the folder.

Any other suggestions?  I need to import these images, and I’m at wit’s end.

      Hey Chris,
First thing I would try is re-import the .jpgs from your camera and then redo them in GIMP. If the program sees 1 jpg it should see them all so maybe there is an issue with the files.
