File/Preferences/Walls/Construction Lines Wall-Mounted Item Alignment is set at 93″ but when we draw a wall it shows top align at 84″.  Am I missing something?

Hi Curt,

The preference setting should override the wall properties.  If you set the preferences to 93″ and then draw the wall and place a wall cabinet it should place at 93″ even if the top align in the wall properties says 84″.  That said, I believe that if a preference is set in the catalog that you take the cabinets from it can override the preferences set in the software.

If you have set the top align in preferences at 93″ and the cabinets still place at the default height (you can check in an elevation) please let us know which catalog you are using and possibly provide us with the .kit file you are having the issue in.  You can send it to residentialsupport@2020spaces.com and we’ll have a look and see what is causing the issue.
