I have the newest version of 2020 Design and I’m not able to enter the customer’s information into Design Info. All that will come up is a blank window. My fellow designers for my company don’t have this issue, only me. How can I get this fixed?

Hi Dana,
The information box being blank is an issue that is caused by changing the file path for your logo in the preferences. Change the file path back to C:\ProgramData\20-20 Technologies\config\ and the box will repopulate.
To change your logo you can give us a call (1-866-697-2020)and get the tool that will do it for you or you can rename the bmp of your logo “Logo” and copy it into the C:\ProgramData\20-20 Technologies\Config folder and replace the file that is there.
Hope that helps,

I bought my 2020 in December 2016 never found a config folder. This is what I have:
C:\Program Files (x86)\20-20 Technologies\Design
What am I missing? Please help.

Hi Manju,
the program data folder is hidden by default. In windows 10, in the file explorer, in the view tab put a check in the hidden items check box and then close and reopen the file explorer. Then you will be able to see the program data folder with the 2020 technologies\config folder in it.

It worked, thanks.
When I click on the Design Information icon, it doesn’t open. It was ok when I first installed the program. How do I fix this?

Hi Manju,
is the box not coming up at all or is it coming up blank?

It is not coming up at all. I have to hit ‘escape’ to get out of the command.

It sounds like the design info screen is coming up behind the other windows. To fix it all you need to do is go into your Maintenance tools and select 2020 Design Registry Reset. That should fix it but be aware that it sets the program back to its default settings so any changes you made to things like preferences, the quick bar and sorting of catalogs will have to be redone.
