Hello,

My name is Irene, I am a newbie here. We are working on creating our product catalog and we plan to use 2020 drawings for this purpose. I wonder if there is any way to show cabinet dimensions on perspective view. Something similar to the picture attached?

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Irene,

There is no way in 2020 to get dimensions in your renders.  You could however save your renderings as image files and manipulate the saved images to your heart’s content.  Something as simple as Paint might do the trick but something like Photo Shop will get you better images.

PhotoShop is undoubtedly the best software for image manipulation but it’s pricey and the Lite edition is useless.

The best free alternative is Gimp. It will allow you to manually add dimensions and lines to a saved 3D render as well as do so much more.
