Expired key issue

      Hi Neil or whoever,

      We have a USB key giving an expired message in V9. I have requested a new code but we have had the odd hiccup in the past. My question is does V9 have different activation codes to V11 and also are there different expiry dates stored in the key for each version?

      Hi Mike,

      The codes generated for v9 and v11 are different. The versions use different code generators. However if you successfully apply a code in v9 the expiry date will also change for v11. The Key doesn’t care which version you run but the code applied needs to be applied with the license update tool appropriate to the generator used to create it.
