      1. Is EZ Render utilizing true “ray tracing” technology?  This question is due to concern for the GTX 1660 TI cards which are great cards but lack a ray tracing component.

      2. Is EZ Render utilizing the cloud based tech of the same name?  ie. does it shift the rendering to the cloud and off the local computer?  Or is all rendering still on the local computer graphics card?

      Thx!

      Hi Jeff,

The Native API is optimized for ray tracing on the CPU, and not the Graphics Card. So the end result should be identical in both image quality and performance. Assuming the two CPU’s are the same.

The number of physical processing cores is the biggest performance factor when Ray Tracing with the 3DEngine.

As well, EZ render does not render to the cloud. Everything is done locally on your computer.
