ParticipantHi.
I have now had a number of clients that are so impressed by the detail of Fusion, along with the lighting of the designs etc, that I am am finding more and more clients are asking “What time of day is the sun shine set at?”
Naturally, the sunshine is not geo-located, and so we then have to explain that it is ‘made up’.
As a feature suggestion, to really enhance the realism of a design, would it be possible to include a ‘Set North’ feature which will then calculate the Geo-location of the design from the address added, and then show the sun light more accurately?
Benefits:
– This would hugely assist when designing lighting for a room
– Would present the design more accurately
I would be keen to hear the community thoughts on this.

ModeratorHi Richard,
Thank you for your suggestion.
Can you confirm that you are already using the lighting features within the view tab, that allows you to change the direction and incline of the sun?
Please see the attached image for reference.
Kind Regards
Ryan

ModeratorHi Richard,
No problem at all. I will put this through as a Feature Request for you.
If this feature is added, it will most likely be implemented in version 7 of Fusion
Kind Regards
