I frequently used the flatten command when I used 3D CAP parts in CAD, but it appears that I have lost the ability to flatten with hidden lines in CAP Complete.  Anybody else having this issue or know a work around (other than using hidden line views/plot styles)?

Hello Jenna,

The flatten command is definitely not removing hidden lines as it should.  I’ve reported this issue for review and correction.   Since you are using it on Cap parts, I would use the Cap convert 3D to plan command to flatten the Cap parts as a work around.

Unfortunately convert 3D to plan will not work in my application since I do need the 3D to be represented.  I attached a file that shows how and why we use the flatten with hidden lines tool to help represent glass tiles.
