How can I show a glass block window in an exterior wall?

Our area has lots of homes with glass block windows, particularly in master bathrooms. Typically they are 8″x8″x4″ units, with 1/2″ grout between units and no frame. 12″x12″x4″ units are also not unusual. But “glass blocks” is not a texture option in any windows specification, and is not a material in the Common catalog.

      Hello Phillip,

What you can try is create a user shape to the size of the glass block, apply a glass texture and copy and stack. Do not hesitate contacting a support agent at 866-697-2020 for any assistance you require.

      Thank you

      Hi Philip!

There are a few glass block textures in the Common catalogue (at least here in Canada).  It’s under Glass-Wall-Generic-Clear.  The 6×6 block and 8×8 block aren’t super convincing, but they are translucent.  The “White White Cobble” is more convincing – but no light passes through it – so it depends on the look you need.
