I just purchased a new PC laptop, after transferring all of my files and programs to the new device I can no longer get into my 20/20 Design program. When I insert the USB security device the PC it stays lit up green for only a few seconds.. and then the light goes out and 20/20 doesn’t recognize it being installed.
HELP!

Hi Trevor,
Most of the time when this type of issue happens, it means one of three things.
1. The port its plugged into is not working correctly.
2. The Key is broken
3. The software that reads the program is faulty or wasn’t installed correctly.
Seeing as this is a new machine, I would assume that its the software that is faulty. You can go into the Control Panel and uninstall the “Sentinel Protection Installer” (while the USB is unplugged) and then reinstall it (version 7.6.8)

Connection issues with security devices can be frustrating, but troubleshooting steps like checking Wi-Fi settings, ensuring firmware is up-to-date, and rebooting both protection dog sale the router and the device can help. If these don’t work, consider resetting the device to factory settings or contacting customer support for further assistance.
