Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is not my default browser.  I have no idea what the default browser for our customers is or will be.  Is it possible to use 2020 Room Viewer without IE as one’s default browser?

    Thank you!

    Hi Michael,

All Windows machines have IE installed by default.  If your default browser is not IE you can always open IE and copy the link from room viewer into the address bar of IE.

You also need to know that Room Viewer will only work with IE 10 or IE 11 running in compatibility mode.

Room Viewer has largely been replaced by the 360 panoramic view at this point and since it will work in any browser I would suggest moving to that solution.

    Hope that helps

You need just to change your default browser.

IE is getting better every year, but we compared Internet Explorer and Chrome, I can say that Chrome is ~1,5 times faster than IE. But I work on my project with Mozilla, not only because Mozilla is more secure than Chrome, but because it has slightly better protection (I’m not talking about different add-ons).

    Have a nice day!
