If my computer has all of the suggested system requirements for Version 11, how many designs should I be able to keep active at one time without running int issues

Because V11 occasionally crashes, I always recommended to my designers that they work on no more than 1 drawing at a time. All of my designers have SSD drives now so the process of loading and saving is super quick.

Occasionally you might want 2 or 3 drawings open so you can cut and paste items from one to another.

      What Mike said!

      and…

The main reasons for not having multiple designs open at the same time are design safety and memory.

Design safety because if you have multiple designs open and the software or the computer crash you risk corrupting every open design.

Memory because 2020 is still a 32 bit software (Until sometime later this year anyway).  That limits the amount of RAM that Windows assigns to the program and if you have multiple designs open you are more likely to run out of available memory.  Running out of memory will result in the software becoming unstable and eventually crashing.

      Hope that helps
