Selecting Multiple Lights Crashes Program

I find it most useful to set the lights I place in my design to a 360 degree opening. Sometimes I forget to do this on my first light and am forced to go back and change it on all my lights.

I used to be able to select multiple lights at once and do this. However, since the last update (I’m on 12.3.14.47) any time I go to select even just two lights at once it automatically crashes my design.

Is this happening to anyone else?

      Hi Kirstyn,

I don’t believe this to be a specific issue in the version 12.3.14.47. To test out what you had described, I tried modifying about 2 dozen spot lights at the same time and it was able to do so without crashing. It is possible that this issue may have something to do with your graphics card or perhaps the registries of the program.

I would suggest to try running basic maintenance on the program. Running maintenance will remove any preferences you had set up for yourself and revert the program back to default settings. Click HERE to view an article to guide you though maintenance. I would also suggest to update your graphics and test out Design.

If you are unsure how to do these or in general would like assistance with this, please contact our support department. You can reach us by calling 1.866.697.2020.

      Regards,

      Kris

I’ll try this when I have time. Doing this is not an easy process >.<
