Other than custom elevation, is there a way to show the entire wall elevation with a peninsula that comes off that wall? I attached a PDF to explain. I’m not a fan of the custom elevation tool – but I use it… but I need to remove all the dimensions and pull my own to make it legible. Just looking for an easier way… the only option I have found has been to delete the adjoining wall – create my elevation, snip it for my presentation and then put the wall back in the design once complete… but when I put add the wall back in, I noticed all my dimensions get messed up and I have to clean it up again.

The only way I’ve found is to ensure the construction line for the peninsula doesn’t *quite* touch the wall – only like 1/8″ off. That way the wall’s placement zone doesn’t “mitre” with the placement zone of the construction line.
You might have to hold down the SHIFT key while you’re doing it so they don’t snap together.
