Have you ever needed to copy information from one column of your worksheet into another column? Perhaps you have tagged items from  your drawing to a particular column such as Alias 1 but now need that information in one of the other tag columns. If so, then the Column Copy tool is for you.

You can access the tool from the Edit menu, and then choose Column Copy…

Simply set the Column to Copy From drop down to the column containing the information you want to copy. Then set the Column to Copy To the column you wish the information to be in and press OK.

Note that only columns you have enabled in your worksheet will be available to select from and certain columns which are read-only or numeric cannot be copied to. There are also some additional check boxes to append text and the ability to only apply to only the line items you have selected.
