Question: I have installed 2020 Worksheet to a new computer. How do I transfer my existing 2020 Contacts to the new installation of Worksheet?

Answer: The 2020 Contacts database does contain an export and import feature. This will allow you to export the contacts from one computer to another.

To Export the contacts from the existing 2020 Worksheet application:

1. From within Worksheet, go to the Tools menu and choose Contacts…
2. When the 2020 Contacts window appears, click the Export File… button.

3. Name the file and chose a location where you would like to save the file, then click Save.
4. A .CSV file will be created for all the contacts. Copy this file to the new computer or place the file in a location accessible by the new computer, such as a shared drive.

To Import the contacts into the new installation of 2020 Worksheet:

1. From within Worksheet, go to the Tools menu and choose Contacts…
2. When the 2020 Contacts window appears, click the Import File… button.

3. Select the .CSV file you created from the other system and click open.
4. All the contacts from the other system should now be available.
