Good morning, hope you all had a wonderful Easter- all things considered.

I finally upgraded to V12 but I thought I read once when installing the new version the catalogs would be moved right over and wouldn’t have to install them all over again. Only issue I have is that I had about 40 catalogs within V11.

Wanted to reach out and make sure I read correctly and how to go about having them all back in.

Hi Erik,

I hope you had a wonderful Easter as well, Unfortunately the catalog database from version 11 would not be migrated to version 12. The reason being that version 11 was a 32-bit program whereas version 12 is a 64-bit program. (They live in different locations on the machine). The catalogs would have to be reinstalled into v12, but there is a faster way of going about this

Here are two articles that will show you how to Ship catalogs from v11 to your desktop and then install them into version 12. (The first article will show how to ship one at a time.. it will be safe to ship at most 6 catalogs at a time).
