After some quick testing, it seems that there are even more bugs and few of the important ones have been fixed.
is it possible to communicate our displeasure to senior management – this cannot go on. Does your programming team not understand the importance of adequate pre-release testing?

I’m having some stability issues, though. Today, I’m trying to recycle an island from an old design. Basically, copy and paste from an old design into a new one. The island is in an out-of date catalog. I’ve tried updating it both before and after copy and paste. Either way, one it’s pasted into the new design, 2020 lags, then crashes. It’s happened three times, and I need to reboot after each one, as I’m getting the “you can only open one copy…” message when I try to restart 2020 without rebooting.

If you are bringing over an island from another design, here important thing to remember:
If the island was created with the same catalog still please switch items once you have pasted the island on the new plan.
If the island was created with a different catalog, install the catalog(s) and switch items.
If you grouped the items, ungroup them previous to do a switch items.Regards

ParticipantHello, I can no longer create glossy textures!!!! Why was that taken off? Secondly, I cant also create a frame around my textures!!!! IS there something am missing? I also notice that the rendering quality reduced as light can no longer bounce due to flat textures…

2020 PartnerHi. After installing v.11.4 and tried to use the Send to Room Viewer feature I get ‘Keep Numbering‘ warning.

I created a really simple design, with just a wall and a cabinet from the generic catalog with no countertop. I still get the same warning, ‘Keep Numbering’.
So when I left-click on ‘Send to Room Viewer’ that brings me to ‘Room Publishing’ then when I left-click on ‘Continue’ that’s where I get the warning.
Am I the only one getting this warning? Is it an isolated case? Hope to resolve this issue.

ParticipantI am a returning 2020 user and am having a hard time getting 2020 up and running to the point where I can change the door styles, finishes, etc. I work for a custom cabinet place and could really use some help!

The transparent/none choice for textures was inadvertently removed in version 11.4 when they made the changes to the textures window. It will be put back in a future release. Hopefully version 11.5 that is due out this summer will resolve the issue.

ParticipantI’m looking for help in v11 using textures. Its as if the common catalog didn’t install properly. The names are all on the left (when I click on a texture via attributes), but when I click on the name, no color or texture appears.
Also, I’ve tried using my countertop wizard and it says I have no countertop catalogs installed. I have installed Sensa, Silestone, Dekton, US Marble…
I like to really customize the look of my designs so I can get my clients to get an idea how each piece fits together instead of just seeing “one piece” and disliking it. I was a heavy texture-editor in v9 and I’m feeling quite lost.

Neil WilsonParticipant@Kelly – That is likely a scaling issue with the wizard – on your desktop, right click and go to display – change the settings to 100% – sign out and back in and give it a try. Your desktop icons will be smaller but the textures window should open properly.
@T.J. – It could be memory, it could be internet connection, it could be design specific or it could be a new driver for the video card is needed. I think the best thing to do would be to call the 1-866-697-2020 support line and have a tech look at it first hand.

ParticipantEvery time I try and place a note, it does not give me the opportunity to type in the note after placing. I must place and then right click to open and type. It is IRRITATING!!

When a note is placed on the FP or EL immediately after the Add/Edit Note window should be populated in order to add content to it. If the window does not appear most definitely something is not right. Please feel free to contact us so a technician can verify that your program is working correctly.
