When I import a picture of the wood flooring I am using in my design, it looks like a square  tile in the rendering.  On version 10 you could change the dimensions, and the wood would look like wood in the drawing, not like a square tile. I can’t figure out how to import the wood flooring I am using to have it look like planks, not like squares.

Hi  Sarah,

When you import the texture for the floor there is a spot in the user texture window in the lower right where you can change the height or width of the image.  I say “or” because the software will keep the aspect ratio of the file you get the image from.  This means that if you want long thin boards on the floor you will need to take the texture from a long thin image file.  For things like tiles square images work well.  For stuff like countertop textures and flooring rectangular images work best.
